This course is based on the 2009 International Fire Code® (IFC®), including Appendix B, the 2009 International Building Code® (IBC®), chapters 1-10, and Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement (reference available from IFSTA by calling 800-654-4055). It contains a detailed listing of relevant code sections to guide you through the Task List. You will be presented with a series of quizzes that summarize each section and a comprehensive, timed examination. This course is positioned within the framework of an overall training plan that offers an opportunity for those students who are using this course as part of a larger training plan.
