AC70 establishes guidelines for evaluation of fasteners power-driven into uncracked concrete, minimum 1/8-inch-thick (3.2 mm) steel and uncracked masonry elements. The fasteners are used as alternatives to anchor bolts in concrete and concrete masonry, and bolts in steel.
