Fittings fabricated by backwelding are not included in this specification. Fittings shall be homogeneous and free from defects. Dimensions of elbows, tees, crosses, couplings, plugs, and caps shall conform to the requirements of this specification. Requirements for test specimen conditioning, sampling, thread, burst pressure, and marking are included.
