With the rapid advancement of electric vehicles comes the need for charging stations, regulations, and codes to allow full access to the equipment necessary to keep the vehicles rolling down the roads. This program examines EV charging station designs from the perspective of both the Federal regulations and the model codes. The program will analyze EV charging and related issues including the International Energy Codes of the ICC, parking lot design, wiring, reach ranges, operable parts, and the impact on people with disabilities.
