The goal of this seminar is to familiarize building officials, fire officials, plans examiners, inspectors, design professionals, contractors, and others in the construction industry with many of the important changes in the 2018 International Fire Code® (IFC®).
The major changes from the 2015 IFC to the 2018 IFC will be presented. Participants will discuss the changes, reasons for the changes, and take part in knowledge review activities. Information presented will allow participants to apply these new code requirements to design, plan review, and/or inspection. The seminar uses the publication, Significant Changes to the International Fire Code, 2018 Edition.
