Developed through a two-year, national, cross-sector project funded by the US Centers for Disease Control, Pest Prevention by Design is a credible reference for architects, engineers, builders and the green building community on ways to design pests out of buildings. Incorporation of the recommendations in these guidelines reduces the risks associated with hazards from both pests and pesticides and will likely result in improved indoor air quality and money savings over the life of the building.
