Participants will be better able to understand and apply concepts required to safely and efficiently design, install and inspect mechanical systems in accordance with the 2015 International Mechanical Code. This particular recorded webinar will give an overview of administration principles, definitions and general regulations of the International Mechanical Code. Participants will have a better understanding of the administration principles, definitions and general regulations that are covered in Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of the IMC.

Objectives
  • Identify and properly use key administration and general regulation terms and concepts of the IMC with regard to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of people in the built environment during the review of the design, the assessment of the installation and during all inspections of the structure.
  • Apply administrative mechanical code concepts and general regulations of the IMC to review the design of the mechanical system to ensure the health, safety and welfare of people in the built environment.
  • Determine appropriate mechanical code requirements for proper installation of mechanical systems so that the interior environment is safe and complies with the mechanical code.
  • Perform a mechanical systems inspection in accordance with the 2015 International Mechanical Code to ensure the health, safety and welfare of people in the built environment.
