2018 Commercial Building Inspector B2 Certification Test Academy (Virtual)

The commercial building inspector test academy is designed to assist you with taking the B2 Certification Exam. The test academy will cover in detail the topics of the exam. Throughout the academy you will be given an opportunity to answer questions that reference the exam resources. The topics that will be covered: general administration; building planning; footings and foundation; floor construction; wall construction and coverings; roof/ceiling construction and public safety and special construction of the commercial building inspector certification exam. An exam voucher will be issued upon completion of the Academy. Course completion criteria: Attendance in course, Active participation throughout the course, Completing the Exam Content Map Activity.

Required References Not Included with Training: The exam is open book and following reference candidates may use during the exam. It is mandatory that each participant have this reference for the training:

• 2018 International Building Code® (IBC®):
• Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete and Commentary – (ACI 318-14, ACI 318-11, or ACI 318-08)
• ICC Concrete Manual® (2009, 2012, or 2015)

Classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday:

• Monday - Required login to online classroom meeting
• Tuesday - No online classroom - Self-study/Homework completion day
• Wednesday - Required login to online classroom meeting
• Thursday - No online classroom - Self-study/Homework completion day
• Friday - Required login to online classroom meeting and Vouchers for the exams will be issued and are valid for 1 year.

This Course is in a Virtual Training Room: This type of online classroom allows you to see and hear the instructor and classroom and they will be able to see and hear you.
